While it ’s potential that even more characters from those film and beyond will appear , there are some characters from early movies that likely wo n’t be make a return to the big screen .
There are also existing or upcoming resilient - action character in the MCU or Sony’sSpider - ManUniverse that could appear , but unless the movie truly goes all - out in the final battle , probably wo n’t . Lots of surprises are in store for fans in the movie , but these characters are probably not among them .
Venom (Topher Grace)
Venomcould very well appear in the motion picture , at least the Tom Hardy version . But one villain from the Sam Raimi movie who is improbable to take back though is the adaptation of Venom played by Topher Grace . Whilesome fans find thatSpider - Man 3is underrated , one thing that did n’t exactly bring about it was the take on the iconic supervillain .
All of the baddie seen in the trailer are ones that have no analog yet in the MCU . At this point , it seems unlikely that the MCU would miss an opportunity to convey in the Tom Hardy Venom over the Topher Grace one .
Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard)
Gwen Stacy also does n’t have an analog in the MCU , at least not yet . But it seems improbable the version Bryce Dallas Howard play inSpider - Man 3will paying back . This version of one ofSpider - Man ’s greatest love interest in the comicswasn’t developed very much in the movie . It ’s also hard to see what theatrical role she would play inNo Way Home .
Bryce Dallas Howard is also potentially an actress ( and director ) who could be involved in the MCU in another capacity , so leaving that door open makes a net ton of signified at this full stop .
Dr. Curtis Connors (Dylan Baker)
A adaptation of The Lizard is appearing inNo Way Home , but it ’s improbable that another one will seem . Unless the movie gets truly crazy with unlimited variants , fans should n’t expect to see Dr. Curtis Connors , as played by Dylan Baker in the Sam RaimiSpider - Manmovies .
It ’s somewhat of a shame , as Baker never got to play The Lizard , who was set up to be . The character appear in the second and third Raimi movies , with the idea that he would emerge as the villain in the ultimately unmadeSpider - military man 4 .
Betty Brant (Elizabeth Banks)
As fun as it would be to see Elizabeth Banks return to one of her earliest roles , it ’s unlikely the Sam Raimi era Betty Brant will return . Brant would have no existent office to play inNo Way Home , except perhaps for some joining to J. Jonah Jameson . Brant make at The Daily Bugle with him in the Raimi trilogy .
It ’s concentrated to see what function she would play in the movie beyond a mere cameo , and it ’s likely ease up the structure of the account that any fiber from the Raimi motion-picture show beyond the villains will be major characters .
Felicia Hardy (Felicity Jones)
There are manyversions of Black Cat in Marvel Comics , but so far , none in any moving picture iteration of Spider - Man . It ’s improbable one will seem inNo Way Home , though her alter ego , Felicia Hardy , did come along in the Andrew Garfield picture . Felicity Jones played the character inThe Amazing Spider - Man 2as the assistant of Harry Osborn .
Black Cat is sealed to be a villain in the MCU at some point , and the new picture could theoretically introduce her . It ’s improbable it will as her first appearance would be dwarf by the appearance of so many other major villains .
Mr. Ditkovich
A villain , of sorts , from the Sam Raimi movies , Mr. Ditkovich is improbable to appear in the Modern moving-picture show . The landlord of the Tobey Maguire Spider - Man was always looking for the rent and made for some great comedic moment , but there ’s simply no room for him in this movie .
The two had a better family relationship in the third Raimi motion-picture show , where Mr. Ditkovich seemed more sympathy of Peter Parker ’s bother . IfNo Way Homemanages to revisit the Maguire Spider - Man in his apartment , he might look , but it ’s unlikely .
Kraven The Hunter
funny leger fans get laid Kraven The Hunteris a founding phallus of the Sinister Six , so his absence seizure from what is shaping up to be their first live - action appearance is noteworthy . They also know he is coming in his own solo film , but like with Black Cat , it ’s unlikely he ’ll appear inNo Way Home . Introducing him alongside so many villains might belittle the character reference .
A cameo is sure as shooting potential to establish the character , and it ’s also possible the Sinister Six go on beyond this movie . But the odds are against him given the centering is likely to be on other major villain .
Scorpion
Scorpion has been a member of the Sinister Six at sentence in Marvel Comics and did make a cameo appearance inSpider - Man Homecoming , but unless the moving picture throws all of Spider - Man ’s exist villain at him , it ’s unlikely he appears in the newfangled movie .
Scorpio is definitely on the board for future appearances and possible team - ups with other big guy cable , but the focus seems to be villains from other universe of discourse . That would seem to disqualify him , at least for this movie .
Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone)
Gwen Stacy died inThe Amazing Spider - Man 2 , but that alone is n’t enough to preclude an appearance , given the baddie in the new movie are mostly one who died before . Like with the Bryce Dallas Howard Gwen Stacy , it ’s difficult to see what role there would be for her in the story , beyond the specter of her death haunting a returning Andrew Garfield .
It ’s almost sealed Spider - Gwen will seem in live - activeness at some point , and while it would be swell to see Emma Stone in the role , it ’s probably not going to be in this movie .
Harry Osborn (James Franco)
Harry Osborn at last became a villain by the closing of the Sam Raimi trilogy , following in his father ’s step as the Green Goblin . Norman Osborn is returning inNo Way Home , but it ’s unconvincing his son will .
The MCU Peter Parker has no relationship with Harry Osborn , and no substantial clock time in the movie to establish it . Giventhe current disputation surrounding actor , James Franco , it does n’t seem as though there is much chance the character will make an appearance .
