In later August , Sony finally kicked off the prospicient - awaitedNo Way Homemarketing hunting expedition by releasing the first trailer , which dress up several fundamental story details . The preview confirmed the multiverse angle , stop with Molina’sDoc Ock menacingly greeting Peter Parker on a bridge(whether it ’s Tom Holland ’s edition or a different Peter remain to be seen ) . It was clearly a standout bit of the trailer , and even Raimi enjoyed what he saw .

Hopefully Raimi is right , andSpider - Man : No Way Homeis a outstanding motion-picture show that pays homage to all the films that came before .
