InThe Clone Wars , she was last seen being turn back after bombing the Jedi Temple and mangle several someone , for which Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano was cast . Barriss denounced the Jedi Order for having lost their way during the ongoing war .

Despite being an insightful individual , a fast acquaintance to Ahsoka , and a mannequin Jedi Padawan , even Barriss consider Palpatine ’s lies . She was n’t wrong about the Jedi mislay their way during the state of war , but she failed to see that it was because of the unwinnable position Palpatine had placed them in .
The way Palpatine engineered the Clone Wars forced the Jedi to either become warfare generals leading the Republic , or to not take part in the difference of opinion . They chose to be full general to defend the Republic and protect as many as they could , but by doing so they became the side of the Republic ’s war machine , and became warrior more than peacekeepers . If they choose not to do this , they would be demonized for letting the galaxy suffer , mean no matter what they did , Palpatine could make bright individuals like Barriss see the Jedi as the substantial problem .
Barriss ' thinking make it likely that she will initially believe the lies presented by the Fourth Sister about the Jedi trying to assassinate Palpatine . AsStar war : Tales of the Empireunfolds , and she is trained to become an Inquisitor , it will be challenging to see ifBarriss can be redeem , seeing through the lies and how she has been manipulate , or if she will precipitate further into deception and become even worse than the evil she believed she was trying to uncover during the Clone Wars .
