Tales of the Empire Confirms The Nightsisters Aren’t Gone

If there are still surviving Nightsister sects on Dathomir or scattered across the Galax urceolata , then the New Republic will have to mete out with more than just Thrawn and the Imperial Remnant . The Nightsisters may be coming for them too .
The Nightsisters Will Be Powerful Allies For Grand Admiral Thrawn
During his exile inStar Wars’secondary galaxy , Grand Admiral Thrawn cope with and ally himself withthe heavy mother of the Nightsisters . They helped Thrawn escape Peridea – without their assist , he would undoubtedly still be strand there . The Great Mothers are probable of the same social station , or perhaps even more important than Mother Talzin was , and thus super powerful . Once Thrawn returned toStar Wars’primary galaxy , he and the Great Mothers headed directly for Dathomir , possibly to use it as their base of operation . If Thrawn wanted to kill the New Republic once and for all , the Nightsisters would doubtless be powerful ally .
If there are more than just a handful of Nightsisters depart , the Great Mothers could be subservient in reunite them , and with Thrawn ’s resources , they may become a major power in the galaxy once more . If this is how the story move forward , it would present an interesting parallel with how Mandalore was reclaimed , too . The Empire believed the Mandalorians to be pass over out , but many factions were scatter across the galaxy , and as presently as they came together , they were powerful enough to defeat Moff Gideon and regenerate their homeworld for themselves . The Nightsisters may yet be give the same opportunity inStar Wars’next movie .
